Our Story
Built on a belief that quality shouldn't be a luxury.
Simply Star was founded in Tappen with one conviction: that European-quality cabinetry — the kind built to last a lifetime — should be within reach of every Canadian homeowner.

Where we come from
Simply Star was born out of frustration. Our founders had spent years working with European cabinet manufacturers — studying their materials, their tolerances, their hardware — and kept asking the same question: why couldn't Canadian homeowners access the same quality without paying import premiums or waiting months for delivery?
The answer was to build it here. We established our Morden production facility with the same CNC precision, the same Blum hardware, and the same finishing standards as the European manufacturers we admired — but with the speed, flexibility, and personal service that only a local company can offer.
Today, Simply Star cabinets are in homes across Okanagan and British Columbia. Every project is still handled with the same care as the first — because we believe the kitchen is the most important room in a home, and it deserves to be done right.
What we stand for
Honest Materials
We use solid wood drawer boxes, real wood veneer, and high-density MDF — never hollow-core or low-grade substitutes. Every material is chosen for how it performs over decades, not just how it looks on day one.
European Standards
Our production process follows the same tolerances as the finest European manufacturers. Doors are milled to within a fraction of a millimetre. Hinges are adjusted to a whisper. Drawers run smooth from the first open to the ten-thousandth.
Canadian Craftsmanship
Made in Canada. Our local production means faster lead times, better quality control, and the ability to customise every order. When something needs adjusting, we can fix it — not wait six weeks for a replacement part from overseas.
Personal Service
Every Simply Star project is guided by a dedicated design consultant from first sketch to final installation. We don't hand you a catalogue and wish you luck — we work with you until the kitchen is exactly right.
